I’ve moved often—sometimes multiple times a year—which taught me to live light. I had my packing list down, but something was always missing: art. Bare walls never felt like home.

I’ll admit it—I’m a bit design-challenged. I’ve always admired how others pull a space together, but what I do have is a deep love for creativity and the way art can transform a room.

Now that I travel less (thanks to life with a baby boy), that appreciation has only grown.

I started Gavalina to make framed art more accessible, personal, and affordable. We work with a diverse group of artists to offer ready-to-hang, curated pieces—while helping those artists earn meaningful income.
